For any problem, make sure you have the latest version of Inner Space. We post updates on the internet whenever we improve or fix bugs. The problem you were going to report may have just recently been fixed.  Make sure Windows is in 256 color mode. The game and Factory work best in 256 colors. To check the video mode, open Control Panel, Display Settings, Settings tab. (In Win 3.1, open Windows Setup, Display Settings.)
